Each board is a unique piece of craftsmanship — shaped by hand, finished by nature.

Every Tide & Timber surfboard is a one-of-a-kind creation. We work with three core wood species, each chosen for its unique properties — strength, flexibility, weight, and beauty. All timber is sourced from certified sustainable forests within 500 km of our workshop.

The Driftwood — Longboard

Our signature longboard. The Driftwood glides like a dream — smooth, stable, and effortlessly graceful. Built from ultra-light paulownia with cedar rails, it is the board for those who want to walk the nose, hang ten, and feel every ripple of the ocean beneath their feet. The hollow-core construction keeps it featherweight without sacrificing strength.

The Reef — Shortboard

For the surfer who wants to push limits. The Reef is snappy, responsive, and built for performance. European ash provides the backbone — stiff and strong — while a paulownia core keeps the weight down. Tight turns, fast drops, and explosive off-the-lip action. This board proves that sustainable can shred.

The Tideline — Fish

The Tideline is where tradition meets fun. A twin-fin fish design with a swallow tail, shaped from sturdy Baltic oak and light paulownia. Fast, loose, and incredibly playful in small to medium surf. The wide nose paddles easily, the swallowtail releases water cleanly, and the oak rails give it a buttery smooth rail-to-rail feel.

Custom Orders

Every surfer is different, and so is every wave. We offer fully custom boards — choose your dimensions, wood species, fin setup, and finish. Visit our workshop in Flensburg or send us your dream board specs. Turnaround time is typically 6–8 weeks.
